Open HRC Grant Reviewer Position

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to serve on the Routt County Human Service Coalition Grant Review Committee. The grant review committee makes recommendations for funding to Steamboat Springs City Council and the Routt County Board of County Commissioners each year. The Human Resource Coalition (HRC) grant review committee has two-year terms renewable three times.

Responsibilities of the grant reviewer:

Must be willing to read 20 to 30 grants in the fall timeframe.
Can attend review meetings and an all-day hearing.
Understand the Routt County communities.
Familiarity with budgets and finances preferred.

Human Resource Coalition (HRC) Annual Grant Cycle for 2024

Any Health and human service nonprofit agency may apply for the City of Steamboat Springs and Routt County Community support funding through the HRC process.
The grant application is live as of August 17, 2023. The deadline is September 29, 2023 at 5:00pm
If a nonprofit received HRC funding for 2023 they must fill out a grant report
We use the Community Force software for the grant application and grant report.

Grant Application Schedule:

The grant review committee, comprised of community members, a county and city representative will read all grant applications in the month of October. On October 30^th, we will send you questions on your applications. The answers are due back within a week on November 7, 2023. The all-day interview day is scheduled for November 16, 2023. The interview schedule will be sent out by October 3^rd so you will know when you are scheduled to interview with the grant review committee.
