Advancing the common good in Routt County

Ways to Give

Our community is powered by YOU

Your contribution to Routt County United Way goes towards uniting people, ideas, and resources to advance the common good in education, financial stability, and health.

2021 Annual Report

2021 was a banner year for several reasons. First, with the help of the Morgridge Family Foundation and you, our community, we were able to grant $500,000 in funding to nonprofit programming in Routt County. Tuition assistance for preschool, youth programming after school and during the summer, financial stability initiatives such as supporting transportation and food initiatives, and mental health assistance along with crisis services were the areas on which we focused. So many of these programs are the backbone of a healthy community. Read about all of our successes in the annual report!

What is United Way Doing for the Holidays?

This holiday season we are thrilled to host our annual community Thanksgiving dinner in person! Join us on November 24th from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the community center for a free Thanksgiving meal. If you would like to volunteer to help with the dinner or donate food sign up below.

This December to alleviate stress during the holiday season we organize a Holiday Food Card Drive. By collecting local grocery gift cards we provide families and individuals with a week’s worth of groceries. In turn they are able to purchase gifts for loved ones or take care of extra expenses.

Drop off food cards at our offices 443 Oak.

Thank you for all of your support this holiday season!

Another fun way to support our Holiday Food Card Drive is to attend the upcoming Tunes for Toys fundraiser concert! Tyree Woods is hosting a benefit concert November 26th beginning at 6 p.m. at Old Town Pub & Restaurant. Tyree is joined by not only some of his brothers who are Buffalo Commons, but some fresh guests who love to visit our area.

Part of the concert’s proceeds will go directly to our Holiday Food Card Drive and we encourage concert-goers to bring $20 Visa Gift Cards as donations, and every gift card counts as a raffle ticket towards incredible prizes. Cash will also be accepted. All donations and any help offered are  appreciated. Let’s make this event a smashing success!

Monster Mash

We cannot thank our community enough for such a successful Halloween Fundraiser! The generous support and incredible enthusiasm we received result in a successful night of smashing poverty in Routt County! Thank you to everyone who donated their time, money, and services.

An additional special thank you to, Nancy Mucklow, for leading the Monster Mash committee and her constant support of RCUW.

Check out the fun!
